Welcome to Nazareth
Tucked away in the heart of the Lehigh Valley lies the super charming town of Nazareth. Established in 1740 by Moravian missionaries. The historic downtown district is straight out of a Hallmark movie with a distinctive, welcoming spirit around every corner.
Nazareth’s Real Estate Landscape
In the heart of downtown, there are gorgeously preserved historic homes dating all the way back to the 18th and 19th centuries. And once you venture a little outside the downtown area, you’ll find tree-lined streets with a mix of classic colonials, brand-new modern farmhouse builds, and pretty much everything in between. Backyards are a hot commodity these days and the Nazareth neighborhoods deliver! All just a hop, skip, and a jump away from major routes like Route 33 and 248.
If rural living is more your scene, the adjacent Upper Nazareth and Lower Nazareth townships offer a mix of single-family homes and spacious lots for those with an eye on building their dream home. You’ll get all the perks of a peaceful country escape while still being a short drive from Nazareth's downtown and an easy commute to Bethlehem Allentown and even Jersey!
The Lifestyle
Living in Nazareth and its suburbs is all about the perfect balance of small-town coziness and modern-day convenience. Community spirit is thriving here and the producer-only
Nazareth Farmers Market is pretty much a weekly tradition on Saturday mornings. Just outside the borough limits, the townships of Upper Nazareth and Lower Nazareth provide more of a suburban feel.
While having a bit more elbow room, these townships are a major perk, being an easy 15–20-minute drive to major employers and attractions in all areas of the Lehigh Valley. Simply, Nazareth is a stellar option for families. The schools get top-notch ratings, crime rates are super low, and there’s an overall focus on healthy, active living.
